Victor Guadagno
Board of Directors, President, Producer


Victor has been involved in some form of Production for the past 25 years, including music, photography sound design and video. For the past 12 years he has focused primarily on telling the stories of sustainability through video production. He has received four Emmy nominations, and was awarded the Emmy in 2008 for “Writer Producer of New Media” for his work on Emerging Science. He is passionate about communicating and educating sustainable systems through high-quality audio and video, and Bright Blue represents the latest manifestation of that vision.

Brad Johanson
Board of Directors, Editor


Brad Johanson is a nine-time regional Emmy award-winning editor.  He has been working in the post-production field since 1998 when he joined the famed Panache Editorial in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay.  Since then Brad has developed an impressive canon of work that includes everything from award-winning documentary film, to national episodic television for channels such as Discovery Science and Animal Planet.  Brad earned his Bachelors Degree in communications and film studies from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jon Erickson
Board of Directors, Treasurer


Jon Erickson is Professor of Ecological Economics and Managing Director of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont.  He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in ecological economics (EE); leads an international service-learning program in the Dominican Republic focused on human rights and health in migrant communities; co-supervises a graduate certificate program in EE; and leads a research program on both the theoretical development of EE and applied work on human and ecosystem health. He has published extensively on these topics.

Amy Seidl
Board of Directors, Curriculum Development, Secretary


Amy Seidl is the author of two books on climate change: "Early Spring: An Ecologist and Her Children Wake to a Warming World" (2009) and "Finding Higher Ground: Adaptation in the Age of Warming" (2011). As a practiced ecologist, educator, and mother of two girls, Amy writes with a lucid and passionate eye about the state of life itself in the Age of Warming.  In addition, Amy is a lecturer in the Environmental Program at the University of Vermont.  Her research and teaching in sustainability science and ecological systems makes her a sought-after lecturer on global warming and ecological design.  Amy is Vice President and Secretary of Bright Blue and provides curriculum, scripting, and content development.

Robert Kittila
Director of Photography


Robert Kittila was born in Yokohama Japan in 1955.  Finnish by nationality, he’s lived in Japan, Finland, Spain, Sweden and now the US and is fluent in five languages.  Robert attended the Rhode Island School of Design from 1975-1977, and obtained his degree in Advertising Photography from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA in 1980.  In 1986 Robert joined Powell Peralta Videos as a cinematographer for the breakthrough skate films "Public Domain", "Ban This" and "Propaganda". He then went on to shoot the now classic "No Way Hans Rey" Bike videos.  He has since developed an impressive client list as a Director of Photography and Still photographer.
